About

Sometimes you need a place to tell your stories. Or whisper a secret. Or complain. Or make an announcement. Or tell a joke. Or maybe just let your friends know what you are doing at the moment. This is my place.

I have a headache. Anyway, I came back to the hotel on Sunday night, but it was a mistake as I did not get enough sleep due to watching TV, (which I discovered has no AXN which might explain why I watch it less now) and was really sleepy throughout all the speeches given. The good part was we received our allowances in the evening. In cash. So 150 people were like walking around with a big stack of money in their bags/pockets. Smart me just went to the ATM and put it in all again. Then I hung out with some of the HK GAs again. They were basically waiting for everyone to gather up, but then some girls went shopping and some people were late. I think they do not really have much patience to wait for people, but then again, SoBear and FredBear were not exactly the most patient people either, especially when it comes to waiting for people. So could this be a common trait among all HK guys ? Hmm. Interesting.

After about 30 minutes of aimless walking, GAJordi was smart enough (thank goodness) to think about going to karaoke instead that night. However many people did not come so they went off, which made waiting for them a waste of time. So off we went, just me and 3 other HK GAs. We started singing and were joined later by another 7 people, so we switched to the biggest room, the one we used for my birthday. Hurray. We had 5 mikes which was good so that more people could sing at one time. We sang like crazy. Well some of us did. Some of the others sang a bit, drank a bit, played dice and danced around. I sang. And only sang, haha...it was pretty amazing. Although we only sang for 5 hours, I am so hoarse today, since I was practically singing for ALL the 5 hours. I sang some of the old favourites I had in Melbourne and of course we also had the new songs. So enjoyable. I believe that singing till you are hoarse at karaoke means you are a very dedicated singer. Haha.

Today marks the start of 5 weeks of training. Today so far I have had lectures on foreign exchange and how trading is done. It is quite interesting but I am also a bit tired, so I get drowsy. Must do well though.

But let me take some time to compliment GAJordi for good singing, GAGordon for the loudest voice and GAVincent for the most enthusiasm. Haha. Looking forward to more fun times ahead.
