About

Sometimes you need a place to tell your stories. Or whisper a secret. Or complain. Or make an announcement. Or tell a joke. Or maybe just let your friends know what you are doing at the moment. This is my place.

What a month ! It was amazing how it flew by, given that during the time I felt time was passing really slow indeed.

To try and recap, during this month, a whole bucketload of people got engaged and it was pretty amazing. That was good news indeed and the bad news was that HK is so hot and humid that I am extremely reluctant to go outdoors at all. The first week of June of course to carry on from before was a lot about exercise and a very careful watching of diet. As a result, I lost about 6 kg in a course about 2 weeks.

Then I spent quite a lot of time surfing fashion at yesstyle.com then housing at various real estate places as well out of boredom. Yes it is really getting quite boring. By the time the third week of June rolled around, my manager was out of town and I was just willing the week to go by faster.

On Friday, I went to get my wisdom teeth removed. All 4. It took about 3 hours and the night before I went to a buffett just to make sure I would not starve over the next few days. Did not work though, I am just simply unable to store a lot of food in one sitting any more. It started at 8 and ended about 11. The whole time, they had me plugged into some orchestra music channel on my request and though uncomfortable, the surgery was not painful at all. It was just tiring having to keep my mouth open for so long.

Unfortunately, the previous night I had a slight cold, and coupled with this surgery, I spent the rest of Friday in bed. Had some porridge for dinner and promptly spent the whole Saturday in bed again. By this time the fever was getting quite bad and I had a cough coming on as well ! Anyway, now that the fever is gone, my stitches are due to be removed on the coming Friday and I am glad to reach that day. Since I am on medical leave today, and Thursday is a public holiday this will be a short working week.

And the best part is that this will also be the LAST working week in my department.

Quite excited about the new adventure about to begin ! Heard some good things about my upcoming job and also will be getting to know (Hopefully) my package for this job.
