Woooooo !! Back from treasure hunt !

It was fun. Like really really fun !! And my team got 9th place overall out of 126 I think. And even though we lost a member due to unforeseen circumstances, it was still very fun. I think we are all actually improving on this treasure hunt thing !! Yea ! And we won RM200 of vouchers from Isetan. Lol...better than nothing. And it was good to go up on stage to collect the prize...WAHAHHAHA... Cameron Highlands certainly beat my expectations of the place. It was really cool still in the evening..and really nice and windy. Could almost believe that it was Springtime in Melbourne. Then the next morning even had time to go and shop. Shop for strawberries, cacti, and fresh vegetables. And the best thing was having fresh strawberries and cream for morning tea. And waffles. And strawberry shake. And fried strawberry ice-cream. Yum. Later we went on to Bidor for lunch and then home. And then later, as we had to drop of GAHenry, who joined my car.....I went to this new and fantastic place called WANGSA MAJU !! Have never EVER been to that place before, and very surprised that it exists. Well, I do know that it is one of the stops on LRT, but I have never been there physically nor did I think that I would have to. But now I have.

Final verdict : Very good trip. Only regret is not bringing some of the IGs overseas up to this place as first planned. The weather was fantastic and atmosphere wonderful.

Also on Thursday night, after a really long day at work, decided to go karaoke until midnight since it had rained and was flooding the streets of KL. Since I was unable to go home, I might as well have fun. And I did have a lot of fun. I love to be in the karaoke when my voice is in the right mood and it was that night. You know your voice is in the right mood when it is able to sing anything !! And I think I sang almost everything that night.

Sooooooo much so that on Friday, after work and dinner and a little walking around, as I had about an hour to go before the Carlsberg event at Luna Bar with the other IGs, I went to the cubicles for a 'quickie' session. You know how Sungeiwang has those transparent cubicles, which fit about 4 people comfortably, and rented out at 30 minute intervals for a quickie session ? Well it was my virgin experience in one of those, and I must say....it was GREAT ! But of course there has to be a different strategy here. No choosing songs with a lengthy beginning MTV before the singing. And also, singing just one verse and one chorus for maximum number of songs. Also, being able to pick songs while singing is very important !!!!!!

We were at the Carlsberg event, which was to be spun by DJ Diamond, a former Playmate. After meeting some people and also catching up with others, and getting twice the amount of beers that we paid for, we had a lot of fun. So much fun that I almost forgot we had the treasure hunt on Saturday and ended up with only 4 hours of sleep, WHICH I blame that we only got 9th place. Haha.

Cannot believe that tomorrow is Monday again !? Another whole week to pass by before it being the weekend again !?

Some takeaway from the trip though. You really have got to know some people before making any judgement. The last one week has been full of surprises in terms of my initial judgement on a couple of people.

Super busy at work. And like someone told me, maybe I should start managing expectations. After given a target of ~one portion~ of work a day, well, I sort of did 4 in the first day and then 8 on Tuesday. Very good. Or so I thought. Urgh...I had to do 22 from Tuesday night to Wednesday lunchtime. And this 22 was not even from my manager. It is not that I do not want to do it, but I guess, I want to be treated as something more than a factory. And yet at the same time there is a very big sense of accomplishment at the end when I discover that I can do 22 in half a day. And there is a certain competitive streak I guess to show others that I can and have done it. Oh well, I am analysing that this is the ~significance~ part of me showing. LOL. We have so many strengthsfinder words in our conversations nowadays.

But I guess that work is something that everyone must go through. Also, they have blocked blogger from the workplace, so now, not only can I not blog at work, I also cannot read blogs at work. There go hours of productivity....or rather.... unproductivity. Efficient in a way. Since I do not have much to do online, I work. And the work churns out rather quickly.

Apparently there is another bout of cross dressing to participate in for next Friday. I am not chuffed at all, and in fact feel rather out of it all. I suppose, this is just not the time to have too much silly fun. After all, it will be in front of people from the office right ? Then there is the treasure hunt on Saturday. We are going to Cameron Highlands. Interesting and should be fun. Hope the first prize will be procured. It is the best prize after all, and it is 2 tickets and accomodation to Hong Kong. Yummy. Will be feeling rather tired though as will be attending the DJ Diamond show at Luna Friday night. Sigh.

Sometimes I want to rest more, but at the same time I feel that I have not got anything that is unimportant to give up. So I end up in bed, knowing that I could fall asleep at any time and yet try to read a chapter of Harry Potter, and then falling asleep within a chapter anyway. I think the weariness from work has kept me from going too crazy with the book. Reading it so slowly ! But then again, obviously the first half is not that interesting to keep me going through the night. I suppose when you get older the priorities change. Notice that my age on the side bar has changed to 23. OMG. 23.

Met PatBear for dinner on Tuesday night. It was fantastic to catch up. And great to talk to someone who is not working. So young and so fresh. Have no idea what it means but I think you will understand what I am trying to say.

Lastly. I hate the trading floor where you cannot chat on the phone. Bleh.

Whoa !

Dead tired, from unpacking and it is kind of sad but also interesting to put stuff back where they should be in your life. And I am UTTERLY SHOCKED by the humongous amount of clothes I have ! I thought I had a lot in the cupboards and in the 2 large suitcases, and then I come home to find three basketfuls of clothes. You never realise how much you really have until they are all gathered in one place !! And yet I wanna buy more ! Life is crazy. But I am really proud of myself, only bought 2 shirts !! I think in the whole of this year, other than that, bought a pair of jeans, and 2 pairs of shoes..so it is really quite disciplined of me !!!!!

But now that I have 9 pairs of jeans looking at me....I look back and am flabbergasted. Then I look at my 18 other pairs of non-work long slacks/pants and get more confused. Add to that assorted 3 quarters and shorts numbering about 20..and that is really a lot. Crazy ! And if you want to count the tops that I have. Around 200 pieces. Absolutely crazy. And the worst thing is that I can actually fit into all of them...So I do not have the heart to throw any away. So terrible.
Really need to get more working clothes though. Bored of the ones I have.

It was quite crazy last night. After all the exams and some speeches we had dinner at this restaurant...(boring) and then moved on to GAErik's room for some wine, cheese, bread and chips. Played UNO, took silly pictures and got ready to go to Velvet at 12. And did not return till 3 something. Wonderful night. Though it was sad to say farewells to sooooo many people especially as now there is really no knowing when will be the next time you see them !

Had Marco Polo for lunch after spending most of the morning doing more farewells and packing and moving the stuff to the car. Need to start returning the table and MJ to respective owners !

Still cannot believe that I have to go back to work on Monday ! Argh.. When I go back to work...I will be older...23....erk...erk...erk..I feel 18. Can I be 18 ?

After all this while. Oh ! Met CZBear at Velvet ! Quite amazing as she just pulled at my shirt as I walked past and I was like who is this !?!?! Great to see her but we should catch up again someday !!

I do not think that you will ever know how hard it will be to say goodbye. For the third time. Because, we both should know now that there will be no more certain "see you next year".... and who knows what the future will hold.

I know you will not read this but please know that whatever happens I will always remember...

So basically yesterday was meant to be a surprise birthday party for me. Notice I said meant to be because I was in the know after I received a phone call with apologies for not being able to make it for my birthday party. I was like....what birthday party ?!?? Haha.

But that was notice enough to get back to the hotel room to change into some clothes that would look better on the camera....lol....and contacts........

I already knew we were going to 789 for drinks..but never thought that would be the venue. After the phone call though, it was slightly obvious. I had to put on my best surprised face when about 50 people came bearing cake and drinks ... ! Surprise !! Thank you.......

Then the drinks started. It started off with a mega 6 shots of vodka that had to be downed in 10 seconds. That was crazy...But it was nice. The bar people had this giant martini glass filled with ice and a cap with 6 holes into which one could put 6 shot flutes inside. With random people cheering me on, and even other people at the bar were watching me down it....it was fun..

Walking around got me more drinks (all free of course...that is really the great thing about a birthday...) and I finally made it to the couch where I received my present and card...mainly from HK and Malaysian GAs....Love you all to bits. And I mean it.

And now we come to the (slightly) gross part. I got gangbanged. ........

Well, actually I received kisses .. from about 20 ....guys... (it was more like my mouth got raped)... and this is all on camera....I was totally held and unable to move......imagine all the different STD one could have gotten....of course there were lots of female kisses and lots of hugs all around but I really do think that was an unforgettable experience.....

People can be really weird when they are drunk !!!!

But...sigh...first birthday celebration of the year...will be turning 23 in 4 days...really scary....

Should have just stayed 21............

More than a week ! Just shows how busy I am.

Averaged 90 for the last 3 exams....that w0uld be great last year but this year the top score so far after 3 exams is an average of 97 !!!!!! Crazy !

Have met KaiBear, JinBear and RaeBear....after so long !! It is also amazing though how 6 months have flown by so fast...

Urg...only one more week to go..... so sad !!!

Sometimes the ending is neither good nor bad. Because sometimes you gotta settle for it. And we settled.

We settled for a great friendship for the moment with a time option for further development of relationship.

I am not even going to bother explaining that, but suffice to say, it was decided at 4 am by the poolside.

In other news, Debt Capital Markets is a hugely interesting subject. Loving it...so far..

And also, since we now have a full sized mahjong table and tiles in my room...woohoo !! Massive thanks to NickBear and SahBear for the contributions !!!!
