Last year has been crazy and it was pretty scary how fast it ended. A very very hot year for weddings and perhaps may just be a signal of how many more I will be attending/facing in the next couple of years. I already have two before Chinese New Year to attend. I spent some time reading through some entries from before and it was really really good to look back and see what has happened in my life so far and sometimes draw conclusions. It also seems to have a lot of mahjong playing in it. But for sure, I ended 2009 and started 2010 the same way I ended 2008 and started 2009. Playing mahjong with MrTT and GABish and FredBear. The same four people in the same four seats at my place with different rules, given that we have now all advanced to playing with 12 Joker Tiles. Amazing. I think I would have died without Mahjong. Also have a fairly new obsession with Farmville. One thing that I am rather glad is that I have not bought any winter clothing this year, which is great, since it is all about saving money. This year I do want to save more. And spend less. Upcoming travel includes a trip to Japan and I want to make sure that this does not cut in too deeply. I may have to spend more time at work, and this may affect studying. I doubt I would have the time to go in for full time Korean courses, but this also means that I would have to be more disciplined about studying it myself. I need to draw up some timetables. With my contract coming due in July, it would also be time soon to think about the future, I have had some talks with my manager, and it seems I may stay for at least another year. The conditions however are not clear yet of course, and I find myself still thinking as well if I would prefer to stay on the same conditions or on a local package. With so many things happening, I have zero time for any relationship and sometimes I think it is better this way. I am still too full of activities and need so much myself time that I cannot see how I can make time for anything else in my life at this moment. Not really living life to the fullest at the moment but definitely very full. Need to continue to work hard this year !
