Since it is swot vac..time....it is very possible that almost everytime you talk to someone you would be asking about things such as when are exams, what chapter you have studied up to and when are you going home for the holidays.

It is a very stressful time as well and yet you will always be able to find people awake at all hours of the day especially around 4-5 am. It is amazing how many many people find it so much easier to study during the wee hours of the morning. Also it is the time when many people simply disappear from sight. They are probably studying but it is sad as some of them you will not see for the rest of your life as they were probably on exchange or have graduated. Tempers flare from time to time so it is also not uncommon to see some shouts somewhere in the dining hall or frustrated slams of very thick books.

Myself, well am rather calm..and of course studying..Should also proably not mention the fact that I have won around $100,000 from poker already. I guess FredBear was to blame for that slew of rash decision which turned out fine...but still very reckless.

Last Wednesday we celebrated ParkyBear's birthday. As he had an exam on Thursday, we only had a short birthday cake cutting with chocolate fondue that night. But later on Thursday night, myself, him and RegBear were hard at work at ReidBear's apartment making scones. We made at least 9 dozen scones and they were very good. Apart from TasBear's time to time sabotages and comments, they went down very well with jam and whipped cream. Hot scones are just amazing. And since I have memorised the recipe well, it cannot be hard to make again. Then on Friday night, RoxBear had homemade pizza and that was great as well. Rushing back that night for ParkyBear's late night high tea with jam, tea and scones it was great fun as well. As it was officially the celebration for the battle of Tsushima between Japan and Russia, there were no official presents as well. Late night talks between ParkyBear, TasBear and I lasted well long into the night after everyone else had gone. I guess this was definitely called quality time...when you can talk and talk and relax and drink tea. We also had some macaroni and cheese at around 3 am.

Yesterday had some Vietnamese noodles and my all time favourite soursop drink in Richmond. It was great...except that got conned later to go to RoxBear's place for brownies and mahjong. Am quite good at it by now...in fact....very good..haha... So although not much studying was done yesterday, today I have been getting about my IF reading and it is rather going quite well so I shall be prepared for my discussion group tomorrow. Good Luck to myself for all the work and exams !!!

Well I really have not posted in a while maybe almost two weeks. This could have been due to the fact that I have had a lot (REALLY) a lot of assignments over the past week. Having to start studying for exams also do not help with the time management.

Got my work visa today means will be legally able to work during the holidays. Not sure that I want to...but will be very handy...since FrBear and OrangeBear and DavBear or even CCYBear might all be working as well. Could be fun and also an eye opening experience.

Went for a Japanese tutorial today and was surprised that though could understand up to 60 % of conversation was unable to make proper responses. Should be an issue that can be brushed up. LuBear is having her birthday party this Sunday night and it should be fun with yummy sushi to eat.

Speaking about sushi...this past week went to SharBear's place to eat sushi and to study. Met PeteBear on the way as well...so well .... someone else to know...maybe a friend in the future ? You never know. Craving chocolate and bananas at the moment. Wonder why.

Have not downloaded a song for ages. Could it be that I am officially starting to get old and am out of the pop chart business ? Have not gone to karaoke even once too this semester...but well I guess could make it sometime soon ...maybe after exams even. Finished two assignments today and was pretty proud of myself for the IREA one as I only figured out how to do it....like just a while before it was due...thanks a lot JamBear....for helping out...great to have known her too... !! Lucky kept her number as well.

JenBear will be coming down during Winter for a week. Hope to have some fun then. Have not seen her for a year or so.... year and a half almost. Talking about M2 met MongBear in the library today... WHAT a surprise...have not seen much of her at all....definitely has lost some weight...but well sad that we are not more friendly to each other. Well people move on I guess...and we do still say hi when we pass ? Good thing tat..speaking of which....have not communicated with RyaBear at all for a long time. Sad but what can you do ? Only thought about him when Tori Amos came out on Rove yesterday. See you soon.

Phew...what a long post....in a while everyone..... :)

Today is the day before Cafe and I am very excited and happy that things are going as well as they are. All the acts are great and although am a bit disappointed that the medley did not make the cut...am very delighted that the idea for the Japanese Doll Dance worked very very well.
Even as I speak at 2 am in the morning..there are still people doing the decorations in the foyer...how is that for duty devotion ? I love IH at these very times because everyone just shows so much dedication and loyalty to the college.. !! Very lovey dovey mood.

On a more sombre mood...my grandfather on my mother's side passed away suddenly last Wednesday. It was quite a shock and I still have not had time to think about it very much since with Cafe coming up and lots and lots of assignments, presentations, discussions and online tests in the next 2 weeks as well. It gives you a moment to think that life does go on after all in the world and that people will have to move on. I hope that everyone will not be too upset by the news and will all be able to get over it in due time. But it is sad losing such a close family member..and I shall always remember the great stories and the time that we spent together. I already have fond memories of him that I can laugh about in future. :) Here is to a great grandfather... Loh Yuan.

In other news, HarvBear has got chicken pox. Apparently this is the second case in IH and is quite scary. He is quite afflicted on the face area and I hope he will get well soon.

With all these happenings, I have not been in the best of moods. However thanks to a very wonderful NiqBear for organising Operation Keekee to cheer me up. I had lots of fun today....and had a great time meeting up with everyone. Some I have not seen for 2 weeks. Thanks guys...good friends really last forever. As of now however...cafe plus assignments !!!! and then the dreaded exams in a months' time.

Oh and I also visited JustBear today. Long time no see really. Almost like a month and a half. It is weird how we can do the same course in the same uni and yet hardly see each other at all. Helped him a bit with a maths assignment. Good karma..will come of it.

For now. Oh I heard the long version of NewS' Yume No Kazu Dake Ai Ga Umerer today. It is fabulous.. Have to look for it.. :) And does anyone know how to put music on the blog ? Please teach me :)

Went to watch IH rowing today....Although we did not have our own barbeque, our mascots or even 200 supporters for the team, the girls really enjoyed us going (9 of us) and buying them doughnuts for breakfast....and although they were rowing all over the place, our team definitely had the most fun.... :)

Did anyone know that the Backstreet Boys are coming out with a new album.....? I did not. It was a real surprise...but I also did not think that their new songs are any good. They are really whiny...and not even catchy any more...so well...what can you do ? On the other hand, NewS' album called Touch is great..especially nice is the song Yume No Kazu Dake, Ai Ga Umarete...is a really nice piece of acapella song... NewS is really improving.. !

Last Friday...set up a mini karaoke session in the Dining Hall.....with a projector...the speakers...a mike..it was really fun !! :) and then also celebrated RayBear's birthday later that night... It was really fun and brought back some memories of when I was a fresher and we had around 50 people to celebrate birthdays before everyone broke up into their own little cliques.... :)

Everyone should really visit this site... http://albinoblacksheep.com/flash/numa.php !!
It is hilarious !! It was originally a Romanian song I think ?? !

It is Week 9 of uni...and has officially started to stress...this means my hair falls out when I pull it...it does not happen all the time so do not worry so much anyway.... :)
