After getting my cupboards I am almost done with the whole moving process ! I say that because I still have some clothes in a bag that I have not unpacked. Once that is done, I will be 100% done. Did most of it in a fit of cleaning madness, so just have that bit left. But oh, the thief of time, procrastination is evilly doing its job !

After more than a month of properly living in my new place, I have gotten used to it. The travelling to work, the food nearby, the shops and so on. The transport I am still figuring out as it seems that there are many buses that come here from work, but it is matter of choosing the cheapest option !

I have had the usual bunch of friends over a few times now, so it seems that things are alright. No big problems or missing pieces. I am cooking as well, and have not found anything lacking. Although now I do not have a microwave oven, it is not a problem yet. But I think I did not use it much as well in my old place. The biggest difference here is of course the lack of cupboard space. I could buy more cupboards or shelves but it just seems to me as if that would just add even more furniture to my belongings !

Went once again to the Ocean Park Halloween Scarefest, this time working a bit as part of the staff. Spent an hour helping out and realising that so many people take staff for granted ! I will be nice to all staff of events in future, not that I am not already. Only went to two Ghost Houses, as really not my thing, and the two we went to were not even scary any more. Perhaps, I only get scared once. And these were exactly the same as before. Left around midnight anyway. Found out later that there was a new House where you had to lie in a coffin, and it is like a ride, so perhaps it was good to miss that one out ! Or not.

Phone was certified dead, and could only send and receive messages. So it worked more like a pager ! Pressed for time to get a new phone, and with a decision made not to get an iPad, I settled for iPhone 4 in the end. Was told the waiting time was one month but I got it 3 days ago after only 2 weeks ! A pleasant surprise. Though spent the next few days looking up youtube on how to use the iPhone and do random stuff on it. Have not stopped playing with it since ! Really addictive ! Which is good in a way as it means it is not wasted.

Just came home from watching Grease the musical at the Academy of Performing Arts. They mixed up the music a little and of course the sequence is totally different from the movie. Enjoyed the songs and especially the ending where they made all the audience stand up and dance around as well. Really nice touch. The APA is of course also the place where I am doing my ballroom dancing classes! I have already done 2 out of 10 classes, and have just finished learning the waltz. Tomorrow we start on the tango. Which is supposed to be easier. Though I say finished, it is only because the teachers have finished teaching it ! So now I know the basic steps but definitely do not look very graceful or skilled doing it ! Perhaps more practice is required. Actually not perhaps, but definitely ! Have lots of fun learning it though, and does make me feel like I am learning something.

A long week ahead, as my team mate is on leave, and I have a very long to do list !
