I have gone through 24 hours with no carbs !! And no side effect yet. Hopefully this time this diet will work.

I made my way back to KL for the weekend for the SCB Treasure Hunt, having had many wonderful memories. And this was great too. We rented a huge Starex for the hunt and had a lot of fun hunting, though I must say, sometimes it got a little easy, and yet being lazy, missed a couple of questions. Still got 8th place though, and as a bonus, got the best team name award !! Haha. That was slightly unexpected.

Had quite a bit of local food, like lomakai, and siew pau and even had seafood one night with the family.

Also sat for the exam I signed up the week before and it took all of 20 minutes. Hope I pass though, then I can take the last one to qualify for the PRM designation. Talking about designations, I got my CFA charter confirmation today, which is great news. Now I have two designations.

Work is not getting any more interesting though, at the moment.

The blog came back to me in a flash and I was left wondering what I have been doing for the last 3 weeks that has been the time before my previous post and this. It is sometimes disconcerting not being able to remember what you have done in the last few weeks, but concentrating, I remembered.

I remember that my mom came over at the end of April. I remember taking a day off, to visit Lantau Island again, and go up Ngong Ping in the crystal cable car and visit the Big Buddha. I remember working, and on the following weekend, going up to the Peak for breakfast before walking all the way down again.

How time flies !

And how weird it is that sometimes one can do so much in a short time and sometimes it takes such a long time for anything to happen !?

Although I cannot say this is a very stagnant part of my life - I think the last quarter of last year was it - I am starting to feel a little restless. Very restless, or as some would say having an itchy bum. On an impulse I printed material for the PRM exam. And no idea why, paid for the Level 4 exam just a few minutes ago. I think I need something new. With Chinese classes ending soon, perhaps it is time to revisit Korean/French and or look at the CAIA exams as well.

Need to start scratching this itch.
