| Tuesday, June 05, 2007 Went to the gym today. Seriously, exercising can be very liberating and makes you feel damn good about yourself. Funnily enough, but just as I predicted though, the amount of people at the gym in the mornings has dropped tremendously. I remember near February there was like at least 40 people there in the morning, but today there was only like 15... Freaking internet is still down and I really need to get someone to fix it soon. Remember what I said about catching up on office gossip ? Well turns out that you might not like all gossip. I found out that my boss and sponsor was going to leave for Hong Kong by the end of the month. :( That is at once both good and bad news. Good that if I want to go to Hong Kong to work (WHICH I DO !!) there is already a great guy who knows what I can do posted there. Bad because he is leaving now..... :( I would rather he stay for at least half a year more so that I can continue to draw upon his wisdom, advice, knowledge of myself and the bank, motivational attitude and cost centre. Oh well, as I was saying yesterday, things and life must move on. Speaking of which, quite a number of people are leaving from my floor. People are migrating to other countries, moving to other banks, getting married, getting new jobs for new challeges....it is quite sad. And makes you realise that this is not like school where you can stay with the same group of people forever. People move around and change more often than ever before and you are a fool for putting too much emotion into relationships with your colleagues that you cry when they leave. Awwwww. Sigh. And then you realise that this is how people grow up bit by bit. Monday back at work went by strangely fast. The whole day just passed by. Somehow work helps time pass so much faster compare to when one was studying. 3 days to Singapore ! Am really looking forward to it and am already planning to buy all sorts of things, but mainly shirts and shoes. Will be nice and relaxing for a week before coming back to all sort of exams on all sorts of things for the next five weeks. Even though it will be at a hotel, it does not mean that the brain will not be working. Good luck to everyone studying for exams. Hope your brains do not explode and ooze out from your eyeballs, because that is not going to look very good............... |
